Impello Global is an independent, carrier-agnostic trade credit insurance brokerage and trade finance advisory firm. We help companies sell with confidence across borders — protecting receivables, unlocking working capital, and opening the door to government-backed export financing as an EXIM Bank Platinum Broker.
We’re growing, and we’re looking for a Business Development Executive to help more U.S. exporters, manufacturers, distributors, and lenders discover what trade credit insurance and structured trade finance can do for their business.
About the role
As a Business Development Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle — identifying prospects, building relationships, and structuring trade credit insurance and trade finance solutions alongside our senior team. It’s a client-facing, revenue-generating role with the autonomy of a remote position and the support of an experienced, collaborative brokerage.
What you’ll do
- Prospect and develop new business among exporters, manufacturers, distributors, and commercial lenders
- Build and manage a pipeline of trade credit insurance and trade finance opportunities
- Work with leading carriers and EXIM Bank programs to structure the right coverage at the right price
- Help clients understand the value of trade credit insurance, political risk insurance, and working-capital solutions
- Collaborate with our market executives and account management team to deliver a seamless client experience
What you bring
- Experience in trade credit insurance, trade finance, commercial lending, or B2B financial services — or a strong track record in consultative sales
- A hunter’s mindset paired with the ability to build lasting relationships
- Confidence communicating with CFOs, treasurers, and business owners
- Self-motivation to thrive in a remote, results-driven environment
- Willingness to obtain any required insurance licensing (we’ll support you)
